KEN OJIRI CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION THANKS IMO STATE PEOPLE

I most sincerely thank all leaders, stakeholders, party members, friends, teeming supporters and members of my campaign team for their esteemed support and cooperation in the course of pursuit of my gubernatorial ambition on the platform of our great party, the Accord Party (AP). I appreciate your genuine love, support and co-operation as the campaign lasted and wish to state that I would not have been able to cope or get to this point without your enabling love and support.

Thanks most gratefully for the privilege to share in your thoughts, ideas and Godly wisdom. Our collective dream for a better Imo State is a passion that will ever stay alive till we realize it.

2015 Governorship Election in Imo State was indeed intriguing. It has exposed the gross deficiencies in our democratic process. Though, as a human system we wouldn’t expect perfection. But leaders, role models and umpires ought to be transparently fair and circumspect, not only in electoral processes but in all ramifications of public assignments to cultivate the confidence of the citizens. We do hope and pray that the situation will improve for the benefit of all Nigerians and generations yet unborn.

However, it is heartwarming that it is now a popular opinion that we adhered strictly to acceptable levels of good morals, democratic culture and ethos despite many discouraging variables of our democracy.

It is incontestable that we ran issue-based campaign which appealed to a preponderant majority of Imolites. I assure you that all the experience I acquired in the course of this project will be useful in re-awakening the faith of our people in our political system, re-orientating and re-directing the political course of our dear state and repositioning it to be able to be counted as one of the most viable and prosperous states in Nigeria. What Imo needs is a very experienced captain to man the ship of the state.

While I await my next political step as we countdown to 2019, I must count on you for your unfettered support and belief in me- my abilities and style- in my political pursuit. I urge you to keep aglow the spirit and enthusiasm you have put into this project. Our God will surely lead us to our expected destination.
