Two year after Igbokuta Village count their loses

It was on April 25 2011, when vandals stormed the soul of Igbokuta in Ikorodu Local Government Area, Lagos State and literarily raped the soul of the community in an unholy attack.
The village of Igbokuta which used to be a peaceful and serene environment until that unholy hour of 25 of April 2011 lost her virginity of peace to vampires in human clothing, who heinously invaded the community and left sour tests on the lips of those who survived the attack.
On that day, a group of dreaded hoodlums invaded the community with dangerous weapons and left scares of wickedness on the town of Igbokuta.
The goons allegedly robbed, raped women, murdered villagers, destroyed properties, and looted some valuables.
On that fateful day, residents of the community had bided each other goodnight unaware of the evil that would befall them.
At about 12am, strange faces armed with some heavy weapons and allegedly led by Tunde Imoru (a.k.a baba junior),RasheedAlayandeAsebe, MichealAkinrele and others invaded the village of Igbokuta.
The hoodlums who came with dangerously deadly equipment, including AK47 rifles, pump actions, den-guns, cutlasses, axe, and liquid substance suspected to be acid and high velocity riffles shot sporadically into the air for anunending hours and demanded for money and other valuables from the residents of the community.
The head of the village, Baale Chief NosiruTajudeen also received his own share of the attack from the hoodlums. He was kidnapped after severe torture and various degrees of injurieswere inflicted on him.
The Baale was later found in the swamp where he was chained and left on the ground.
Before the fall of the Igbokuta village, the community were held hostage that night and by the time the rampaging goons had finished their assignment, the village of Igbokuta had become a ghost of its former self, as nothing remainedin the village again, except the ruins of the attack. “We are trying to recover from the last two years attack,” Ade Abiodun told Daily Newswatch. “That day we were held hostage for a long period of time destroying, looting and vandalising properties worth millions of naira. This incident has made the villagers abandon their homes and take refuse elsewhere”, he recalled.
As a result of the attack, the Ogunbanwo chieftaincy family of Igbokuta village, Imota Ikorodu Lagos, has decided to seek the help of the Nigeria police following reports that the hoodlums might struck the village again. It was gathered that some of the suspects in the attack were apprehended and had sworn an undertaking never to disrupt the peace of Igbokuta community. But feelers from the community are saying that the gang are poised to attack the community again and possibly assassinate the Baale of the community.
According to the report, Jimoh Sikiru who is still in detention for his role in the heinous attack has planned to kidnap or assassinate the Baale of Igbokuta, after which the corpse would be brought to the village in order to indict the family members.
The latest plan was discovered through a telephone chat to one of his cohort who is still at large. Also, another alleged member of the gang, one Agbolahon AkanbiTimison, has been threatening the peace and security of the community throwing his weight about.
According to a petition to the police, Akanbi claims to have influence on the police force and have been boasting that the force cannot stop them from their illegal and criminal acts.
Following these threats, the people of the community are still leaving in fear two years after the attack, even though some of the suspects have been arrested by the police, the community has however felt the need to implore the office of the Inspector General of Police, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Area Commander Ijede, and the Divisional Police Officer, Imota, to look into the matter and prevent the assassination of the Baale by their enemies in other to indict the family of Ogunbanwo and put them in trouble for an offence they didn’t commit. Igbokuta are also asking the police to ensure that the perpetrators of these dastardly acts are brought to justice once and for all.
