Lagos State Police Command DAILY PRESS BULLETIN


LONE FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT: - 
 On 1/6/2014 at about 0700hrs, a Toyota Corolla Saloon Car with Reg. No. SF 657 AAA driven by one Patricia Anwuli Echimunor ‘f’ allegedly lost control and hit an electric pole along 2nd Avenue Festac Town. The driver died on the spot and corpse has been removed to Mainland General Hospital mortuary Yaba for autopsy. The case is under investigation at Festac Division.
RECOVERY OF SUSPECTED STOLEN VEHICLE/ARM AND AMMUNITION:- 
 On 1/6/2014 at about 0200hours police patrol team attached to Ilemba Hausa Division while on patrol along Shibiri Etegbin Road, Ojo recovered a Volkswagen Golf Saloon Car with Reg. No. HC 231 EKY containing one locally made pistol, one live cartridge and assorted phones. The vehicle was abandoned by hoodlums on sighting the police patrol team. Effort is being made to arrest the fleeing suspects. The case is under investigation at the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba
DROWNING: -
 On 31/5/2014 at about 1900hours, one Philip Zunjin Hope ‘m’ got drowned in the swimming pool at Rowe Park Yaba. The corpse has been removed and deposited at Mainland General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. The incident is under investigation at Yaba Division.
 SUDDEN AND UNNATURAL DEATH: - 
On 30/5/2014 at about 0100hours, one Jude John ‘m’ aged 30yrs old of Bammeke Shasha was allegedly found dead in an uncompleted building situated at No.1B Jaiyeoba Street, Shasha. The corpse has been deposited at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital LASUTH Ikeja mortuary for autopsy. The case is under investigation at Shasha Division.
