ARREST OF
ARMED ROBBER: - On 2/3/2015 at about 2015hrs, the
Divisional Police Officer-In-Charge of Festac Division while on patrol in
company of his Operation Officers namely DSP Sunday Ayabe, ASP Lawrence Anorue
together with Anti-Robbery 44 and Patrol 44 arrested one John Uche ‘m’ of
No.22, Emeka Street, Oko-Afon Badagry Expressway Lagos with a double barrel
pistol and two live cartridges. The armed robber was arrested at Festac Link
Bridge.The case is under investigation at Festac Division.
2. FIRE
INCIDENT: - On 9/3/2015 at about 0935hrs, the
CSO to AIT Mr. Lawrence Ottabor ‘m’ informed Alagbado Division of fire out
break at AIT Television Studio room. The Divisional Police Officer-In-Charge
Alagbado Division CSP Adepoju A. Ilori went to the scene with his patrol teams
and put off the fire with the assistance of fire servicemen mobilized to the
place. The fire was said to have emanated from a window unit Air-Conditioner immediately
it was switched on. No life was lost and the incident is under investigation at
Alagbado Division.
3. ARREST OF
SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS:- On 5/3/2015 at about
0700hrs, Police Patrol Team attached to Satellite Division while on patrol
along Lagos Badagry Expressway by Church Bus Stop Amuwo Satellite Town, arrested
one Uchechukwu Uche ‘m’ and Yekini Usman ‘m’ both of no fixed address. The two
armed robbers allegedly robbed one Ifeanyi Eke ‘m’ of No.4, Costain Road Ojo of
his belongings with others at large. Effort is being made to arrest the fleeing
hoodlums. The case is under investigation at the Department of Criminal
Investigation Yaba.
4. ARREST OF
ARMED ROBBER/RECOVERY OF ARM AND AMMUNITION:
- On 7/3/2015 at about 0410hrs, Police Patrol Team attached to Igando Division
arrested one Haruna Shakiru ‘m’ of No.2, Imesan Street Egan while others
escaped. One locally made pistol with one live cartridge was recovered from the
suspect. The case is under investigation at the Department of Criminal
Investigation Yaba.
