Moniyke is back with a new single. Titled “OMG” (Oh My God), the appreciation music features a musical genius signed under Hybreed Music, Jethro Chinweotito Abara, popularly known as J smith, who also produced the track, mixed and mastered by Suka Sound.
The groovy track that can be played anywhere and in every occasion like parties, clubs, conferences, churches in expression of thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness, was released on Thursday, October 16, 2014.
In the song, Moniyke expressed gratitude to God, who has continued to sustain him and fill his life with love and blessing.
Many people that have listened to the track have attested that it is the kind of music you would dance to, anywhere and anytime.
“We believe it’s a perfect song for the season considering all the happenings in the world lately,” says the talented artiste.
Moniyke, whose real names are Solomon Ikechukwu Keneze is a known Nigerian singer, songwriter, creative-mind and entrepreneur.
He was 16 years old when he started doing music professionally after he finished secondary school, and ever since then, “the passion refused to leave me, even though it wasn't an industry my parents were happy about, but today the vision is coming to reality. Creativity is my passion and has continued to push me through,” Moniyke revealed.
According to him, the genre of his music is known as “Good Music”. “This is because it’s a fusion of several genres of music that appeals to music lovers, ranging from Rhythm and Blues to Soul, Jazz, High-life, Soft Rock, reggae and so on, which brings out the best of my voice texture.”
He has not relented in doing good music that appeals to all and sundry. On October 25, 2012, he released a smash single titled “Were Obim” (Take My Heart) , a soft tempo music which was performed same day at the Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice, Surulere, Lagos when he celebrated his birthday with them.
“Were Obim”, a sweet and beautiful love song that expresses an undying love from the depth of the heart is his first official single. He hopes to release his debut album in 2015.
Ikechukwu Keneze is the Chief Executive Officer of Hybreed Music & Entertainment Company, a record company and entertainment outfit with the state-of-the-art studio located at Ikeja, Lagos. Hybreed's vision focuses on discovering, nurturing and packaging new talents from the grassroots and showcasing them to the world via standard music production, generically packaged shows and events, in-depth multimedia and artiste marketing.
He hails from Uga in Aguata Local Government Area, Anambra State. He was born and bred in Lagos.
The fast rising music guru attended the Federal Government College, Nise, Anambra State and later proceeded to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, where he studied Physics and Electronics (Production Tech).
He shares his Philosophy of life: “It is only when you look beyond the present into the future, that you make the best of decisions.”
