Canadian Mounted Police, Norm Leger has commended the professional achievements

be honest”, Leger said, as he rounded off a two-week course on “Tactical

failed to recognize that EFCC is a very junior organizations compared to other
law enforcement agencies in the world, but the level at which it conducts its
investigations and exhibits professionalism is incredible.”
Leger said the course among other
things would help in fine tuning the knowledge and depth of Nigerian law
enforcement officers, set a perspective that will lead to intelligence that
will help investigation and assist in identifying and focusing on priority,
trends and relationships.
Earlier, in his closing remark,
Femi Gbarufu representing the Commandant of the academy, Ayo Olowonihi stressed
the importance of participants putting whatever they have learnt into practice
in their various places of work.
“I wish on behalf of the
Commandant and indeed the Chairman of EFCC, to thank first of all the resource
persons and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for facilitating this course
which to me, is very critical in the work we do as law enforcement agencies.”
In their respective remarks,
Brittany McBain, and Jeff Thomson, both criminal intelligence analysts from
RCMP, said they have learnt a lot from their experiences at the course even as
resource persons.
