Day NDLEA Chairman gives out daughter in marriage

It started from Izala Central Mosque Giade town, Giade Local Government Area of Bauchi State, the couple were blessed to have the support of their families and close friends as they completed their traditional and Islamic wedding rites.

The series of ceremonies culminated in a stunning reception which took place on the 19th of October 2014 at the Central Mosque Giade town. On the day of the reception, the bride – Amina Giade was simply stunning in her lace and tulle Pnina Tornai wedding dress.

With its sweetheart neckline and dropped waist, it was a show-stopping dress for the beautiful bride. Her groom, Barrister Mohammad Sagir looked handsome in his three-piece blue suit was a wedding done in simple terms

That was how the Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Ahmadu Giade gave out her last daughter, Amina Giade to Barrister Mohammad Sagir in marriage.

The ceremony was presided over by Chief Imam Mohammad Ladan of Izala Central Mosque Giade town, Giade Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

Giade expressed profound gratitude to God for witnessing the marriage solemnization of his daughter.

“I am grateful to God for a day like this as my daughter is getting married. It is the hope of every father to see the daughter join her husband so I am very delighted that my last daughter is married. My prayer is that God will bless their marriage with children, divine peace and love,” Giade stated.

The NDLEA boss urged the couple to love, trust one another and have faith in God. He added that as husband and wife they must learn to take responsibility and manage their home themselves.

The Sole Administrator of Giade Local Government Area, Hon. Adamu Madaki wished the couple a blissful married life. “I am happy and excited that Amina is getting married today. I wish her and the husband a happy home. She is a good woman and a daughter of a good man. Ahmadu Giade is a good ambassador and the Local Government and entire State is proud of him. He served the country selflessly in the Nigerian Police and he is doing a great job as the NDLEA Chairman,” Madaki stated.

The groom described his bride as a nice and caring woman. “I am happy to join the class of married men. I met my wife at Ahmadu Bello University as a student. She is the most amazing person to me, nice and caring,” Mohammed stated.

The event was witnessed by the father of the day and District Head of Giade Town, Mohammad Sabo Abdulkadir, Head of Government Agencies, NDLEA directors and Commanders and other dignitaries from across the country.
