The theatrics, inside the Civic Centre, Victoria
Island, Lagos venue of the Nutricima event on Wednesday 15th October
2014, was too effective for the event.
The powerful lightning and
sudden flow of electricity (an electrostatic discharge) accompanied by thunder
echoing from the sound system boxes hanged inside the sprawling hall during the
period the event lasted was ceremonial.
The background interval music renditions from the
famous PSQUARE family, the crowd of stakeholders, beautiful ushers and tinted
hall; again sum up what the day was going to look like—
unveiling and launch!
And indeed, it was it when the premiere of the new look
Olympic Milk from the chains of products of
Nutricima was relayed live to motley crowd of traders, stakeholders,
customers, partners, distributors, NAFDAC representatives, PZ group and the
media men and women. It was done by Nutricima in its bid to provide wholesome
varieties for consumers in Nigeria.
Peter Okoye on that day became the new brand
ambassador for Olympic milk, as he was unveiled as the ‘best kept secret’ of
Olympic milk by revealing the two new variants with a theatrical spectacle
which was followed by his thrilling and captivating dance performance.
Nutricima, the makers of Coast, Nunu, Olympic
milk and other nutritious food drinks, said its choice of the award-winning
Hip-hop Star is premised on the fact that his qualities perfectly portray the
essential goodness offered by the brand including vitality, fitness and health
which Olympic milk offers to youths, adults and families in Nigeria.
P-Square’s Peter Okoye, speaking after the
unveiling said: “Among thousands or perhaps millions of people in the
entertainment industry, I feel honoured to be chosen as the brand ambassador.
The deal means a lot not just to me but also to my fans. If a brand isn’t worth
it I have nothing to do with such brand. The fact that I am ready to work with
this brand is an indication of its top quality.”
“I am not going to sit down and relax. I am set to
come up with creative ideas the same way I handle that of P-Square, I will put
in 100 and one per cent,” Peter said.
Nutricima Limited on that day unveiled two new
